Highways England put forward proposal for dualling of A30 between Carland Cross and Chiverton Cross

As part of the government's plans to invest more money in infrastructure projects across the country, Highways England has been working on a proposal to dual the A30 between Carland Cross and Chiverton Cross. With the dualling of Temple scheduled to be completed in 2017, this will be the last stretch of single carriageway on the A30 between Exeter and Camborne.

Highways England are starting a public consultation exercise on the proposal. Public exhibitions have been held at St Erme, Shortlanesend and Blackwater.

Further information can be seen on the Highways England website.
