Cormac incident: details of proposed independent inquiry announced

After a meeting of Cornwall Council's political group leaders, it has been agreed that Corserv and Cornwall Council will set up an independent inquiry into the Cormac health and safety incident.

The inquiry will be chaired by a QC and the chair will be assisted by an independent health and safety expert. Both persons are likely to come from outside of Cornwall.
