Cornwall Council elections 4 May 2017: results

The composition of the new council is as follows:

  • Conservatives 46
  • Liberal Democrats 37
  • Independents 30
  • Labour 5
  • Mebyon Kernow 4

More information about the results can be viewed on the Council website. From that page, follow the links to the details of each electoral division's results.

There is one seat still to be filled because, in one of the Bodmin seats, Steve Rogerson, the Liberal Democrat candidate, tragically died after the close of nominations but before election day. There will be a by-election for that seat on the same day as the general election and the Council will then be up to its full complement of 123 councillors.
