Grampound Community Fund awards grants to community shop, village hall, football club and PFA

At the meeting of Grampound Community Fund Advisory Panel on Tuesday 22 July 2014, the panel resolved to recommend grants as follows.

From the annual £15,000 Fund:

Grampound Community Shop
Establish the community shop
Amount recommended £7,500

Grampound Football Club
Winter training facilities including mobile floodlights
Amount recommended £3,500

Grampound with Creed War Memorial Recreation Ground and Public Hall
Improved facilities in small meeting room
Amount recommended £2,000

Grampound with Creed PFA
Improvements to playground
Amount recommended £2,000

These recommendations have been passed to Grantscape and it is anticipated that the grants will be ratified shortly.
