Grampound Community Fund (Garlenick turbines): results of election for local advisory panel

Grampound Community Fund local advisory panel comprises 7 people: one being the current Cornwall Councillor for the area; one being an appointee of Grampound with Creed Parish Council; 5 being residents elected by the electors of the parish.

An invitation was recently sent to all residents to put themselves forward for the elected positions. Nominations closed on 7 October.

Seven people put their names forward. After close of nominations, 2 of the 7 decided to withdraw. Therefore, the remaining 5 candidates have been duly elected to the panel. They are:
Bryan Coode • Dean Jenkins • Victoria Moorcroft • Roger Paynter • Jane Sloan

The parish council has nominated Shirley Turner to be its representative. The panel will meet later this year to agree its ways of working. Then it will meet again in June 2017 when it will be considering the bids for funds. For further information, see: www.grampoundcommunityfund.org.uk
