Park and ride fare changes from 1 May

The park and ride has been extremely successful, carrying over 1 million passenger each year and taking thousands of cars off the roads in Truro. There have been no fare increases since the Tregurra site was opened over three years ago. However, it is running at a small loss and the Council is proposing to increase charges from 1 May as follows:

Standard day ticket £2.00 (unchanged)
Saturday £1.00

Family ticket (2 adults and up to 4 children) £4.00 (up from £3.60)
Saturday £2.00

5 day ticket £9.00 (up from £8.40)
20 day ticket £34.00 (up from £30.00)
60 day ticket £84.00 (up from £68.00)

The discretionary discount currently given to concessionary pass holders will be withdrawn. Also, annual passes will no longer be sold.

Regular passengers who buy the multi-day tickets might want to top up their card before the fare increases comes into force.
