Mobile phone mast proposed for site at Reskivers

In November 2014, a planning application was submitted for a new mobile phone mast on land in Cuby near Goviley Vean. The proposal was put forward as part of the government programme to improve mobile phone coverage in so-called not-spots. The project was not progressed because of technical issues around achieving a signal from the main transmitter at St Austell.

A developer has now submitted a preapplication advice request to Cornwall Council for a proposed mobile phone mast at Reskivers. This would provide coverage of a large area around Tregony and Cuby. See below an extract from the plans submitted. Further details can be viewed on the Council's planning portal - the application reference number is PA17/00577/PREAPP.

It is likely that this preapplication will be followed by a full planning application shortly.
