Residents' Survey results for Grampound with Creed February 2013

Survey forms delivered to all households in Grampound with Creed Parish: 330

Forms returned by post 47. Responses to online Survey Monkey 29. Total responses 76 = 23%

On the topic of the waste collection contract, the black bag collection service attracted more responses of good (93%) than the recycling (81%). So, although matters have improved considerably since the start of the contract last April, there is still some way to go before it is as good as we could hope for.

On highways, the view on whether or not the Council is doing a reasonable job in maintaining the roads is split down the middle (51% saying yes, 49% no).

On the topic of renewable energy, 54% of you expressed support for the projects that have recently gained planning permission in this area (Garlenick and Penans Farm).

On the topic of the planned new development at the Eastern District Centre scheme this side of Truro, there is a majority (55%) in support. However, for the possible, larger Coyte Farm development this side of St Austell, the majority (62%) are opposed to it.

The responses to individual questions are in the table below. Not everyone gave an answer to every question. Where there were simple yes/no options, the table shows the number of yes and no answers and the percentages are expressed as a percentage of the number of answers to the particular question. Note that, where the questions have a choice of answers and one respondent can tick more than one box, the percentages will add up to more than 100%.
