Trelawney Garden Centre proposal for Probus: new planning application to be submitted soon

The site close to the Trewithen roundabout next to the road into Probus has lain empty and unused for many years. The planning permissions for a garden centre have expired.

The previous owners of Trelawney Centre, Wadebridge, still intend to develop the site as a garden centre. Delays have occurred because of the need to carry out ecological surveys before a new planning application can be submitted to Cornwall Council. The bat survey that has been taking place over the summer of 2016 has now been completed.

The developers hope to submit a new planning application very shortly incorporating the surveys and other information.
