Parish and town councils

The status and functions of parish and town councils were unchanged by the formation of the unitary Cornwall Council.

In the Probus, Tregony and Grampound Division are four parishes as follows:

The parish of Cuby does not have a parish council. Instead, it holds a parish meeting every 3 months.

Coronavirus

Since the outbreak of the Coronavirus pandemic, the parish councils have not been meeting in person but have conducted meetings online generally using Zoom. If you, as a member of the public, would like to attend one of these meetings, please contact the parish clerk for the particular council.

Tregony with Cuby Parish Council

Please note that, as from 1 April 2021, a new parish council will be formed that will take over the responsibillities currently served by Tregony Parish Council and Cuby Parish Meeting. The clerk for the new council will be Mary Symons, current clerk of Tregony Parish Council. See news item.
